I am an Assistant Professor Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in the Quantitative Analysis group. I did a post-doc IBM Watson and received my PhD from the Operations Research Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology advised by Prof. Georgia Perakis.
My current research focuses data driven optimization, analyitcs and pricing. I am interested in how to incorporate machine learning models and insights within operational optimization problems.
I have been a research intern at Amazon in the online advertising team in the summer of 2016, and have had experience as a consulting data scientist and before I started my Ph.D. I Received a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree from the Engineering Science department at the University of Auckland with specialization operations research and optimization.
